It's no secret that Marylanders love and identify with their flag. The signature red, black, and gold of the Old Line State make for one of the nation's most iconic and signature flags.
So it isn't very surprising at all to hear that Nike wants to put that flag on the Ravens' uniform.

In an admittedly sketchy looking post, this Twitter account dropped what appears to be the Color Rush uniforms for the upcoming season. These uniforms debuted last year in select Thursday night games, and are a special monochromatic alternate uniform.
Here is the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars squaring off on their Color Rush night last season.
While the supposed leak looks fake for many reasons, I'm inclined to believe that it's real. In a reddit post dated almost a half-year old, a supposed Nike employee dropped a list of teams and their corresponding uniforms for the upcoming season. His list is now redacted, but the comments show users mentioning their teams' colors, and they happen to match up with this week's leaked list. One of the top comments is from a Ravens' fan expressing their excitement over a Maryland flag uniform for the Ravens. So I'm inclined to believe that the leak is indeed real.
It remains to be seen how exactly Nike will do a Maryland flag uniform, as the leaked image says that "flag colors [are] to be decided."
The Maryland flag uniform isn't a new concept, as Maryland's own Under Armour has produced several Maryland uniforms for the University of Maryland football team.
Whatever Nike comes up with, it better make up for Week 15's gold pants.
