The AFC North is known for it's physical style of play that focuses on the defense and running game. Perhaps that is why we've had so many problems with AFC North players running afoul of the NFL's Substance Abuse Policy during the past month.
Over the course of the offseason, we've had four AFC North players get suspended for violating the NFL's Substance Abuse Policy. Nick Boyle received a 10 game suspension for a second violation of the NFL's drug abuse policy, Will Hill received a 10 game suspension for his third violation shortly after the Ravens released him, Martavis Bryant received a 16 game suspension for his violations, and Josh Gordon had an appeal for reinstatement get turned down because of a failed drug test in March.
The AFC North has already had four players get in trouble for violating the NFL's Substance Abuse policy and the NFL's mandatory substance abuse tests aren't for another few days. This is a problem that the AFC North needs to fix, lest we become known as the stoner's division.
