Josh Gordon's suspension continues. The wide receiver sat out all of 2015 after yet another run-in with the NFL's substance abuse policy last January. The wide receiver applied for reinstatement this January, claiming that he was drug-free and working hard to get back on the field. Apparently, Josh Gordon has a much different understanding of those words than the rest of us.
Josh Gordon failed yet another drug test last month, which predictably has caused the NFL to reject his application for reinstatement. The failed test isn't a guarantee that Gordon will be suspended for the 2016 season, but it certainly won't help his chances of getting reinstated.
Gordon can apply for reinstatement on August 1. Gordon is the fourth AFC North player to get busted for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. This looks to be another blow for the new Browns, as a receiver who had All-Pro potential remains unable to put down the blunt.
