After Haloti Ngata was traded to the Detriot Lions last year, there was honest talk from John Harbaugh hoping someday there could be a reunion to take back the Super Bowl XLVII winning defensive tackle. It clearly won't be this year though, as the Detroit Lions have officially signed Haloti Ngata.
The #Lions brought DT Haloti Ngata back on 2-year deal worth $12M, source said. He gets $6.25M in year one.

Now it is looking like the 32 year old defensive tackle will finish off his career with the Lions.
Haloti Ngata was an absolute run stuffing and pass rushing machine in Baltimore, racking up a total 426 tackles, 25.5 sacks, and 5 interceptions in his career. His last season with the Lions came out to being 24 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Very deserving of a contract.
Baltimore will surely miss the big man, but in truth he would have been nothing but a rotational player with a very low contract. Baltimore doesn't have the money to shell out, let along $6.25 million.
I highly doubt Ozzie Newsome or Eric DeCosta had the big fella' on the radar at all.
