Today's edition of flashback Sunday will show the Baltimore Ravens taking on the Tennessee Oilers in the last game at Memorial Stadium in 1997 where the Ravens won 21-19. It's a rare footage as we hardly full games played by the Ravens in the late 1990's.

You will get a chance to watch a young Ravens linebacker by the name of Ray Lewis going up against Oilers runningback Eddie George. The battle between these two players in this video would be a small dose of the matchups between them entering the 21st century.

Memorial Stadium still holds a lot of history in the eyes of Baltimore sports fans who were around to see the Baltimore Colts and the Baltimore Orioles play in that venue. The city of Baltimore enjoyed seven league championships between the NFL and MLB in that stadium (Four by the Baltimore Colts and three by the Orioles) from 1958-1983.

Memorial Stadium stood as it was from 1954-1997 while eventually holding a seat capacity at 53,371 during the 1990's.

Please note that this game has commercials in between so it might take you a while to watch.

Enjoy!
