Update: Baltimore Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs arrested in Arizona Friday for suspended drivers license

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, who is in the middle of rehab from a torn Achilles injury he suffered in week 1 of the 2015 season against the Denver Broncos, was arrested in Arizona today and was booked at at 2:03 A.M this morning  and was released on citation at 3:21 A.M. according to TMZ.com.

The story is still developing and we don't know why Suggs got arrested but it obviously isn't good knows for him or the Ravens at a time where Suggs is trying to get into physical shape as his career winds down at 33 years of age.

Suggs is in the middle of a five year contract extension he signed during the 2014 offseason and Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome has already expressed in the last week that he expects Suggs to be ready to go by the start of the 2016 NFL regular season. But if Suggs is in serious trouble at the moment, then he may be hearing from the league office in the near future.

UPDATE:

10:27 AM: Suggs was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Here is his response on Twitter apologizing:
