Everybody knows the Baltimore Ravens are in desperate need of shoring up secondary talent. With the workout of Temple cornerback Tavon Young, fans hope this may point towards newfound success.
Tavon Young is rising up the draft boards, with the ball-hawking skills and athleticism expected to translate into NFL caliber play. It helps to see his combine numbers: 4.46 40yd dash, 13 reps of 225 lbs., and a 34 1/2 inch vertical.
Unfortunately that's not what every team is staring at, instead, NFL scouts are harping on the 5'9" frame.
Of all the numbers displayed so far, the most impressive is 24 NFL teams attending Young's Pro Day workout. Also worth noting six teams are hosting private work-outs for the NFL hopeful.
Young isn't a first round talent next to the likes of Vernon Hargreaves III or Jalen Ramsey, but a possible 4th round pick is more and more expected with the continual rise after very successful interviews and constant production since the combine.
Baltimore would be completely happy to nab Young in the fourth, and have the ammunitiont to do so. The Ravens possess four 4th round picks this season.
