On this day 20 years ago, the Ravens were established in Baltimore. And from that day forward, the Ravens grew a team with their first-two draft picks where one is in the hall of fame (Left tackle Jonathan Ogden) and one who will soon be in the hall of fame ( Linebacker Ray Lewis). The Ravens later went on to draft arguably the best safety to ever play in Ed Reed.
Then after that, the Ravens went on to draft quarterback Joe Flacco who set an NFL record for winning a playoff game in his first-five years in the league and currently holds the NFL record for most road playoff wins with seven. Not to mention he's also a Super Bowl MVP.
The following Pro Bowl players were either drafted by the Ravens or signed as an undrafted free agent while playing for Baltimore:

The success the Ravens sustained early winning the Super Bowl within its first-four years as a franchise and winning one more 12 years later cemented the Ravens as a significant force in NFL history. The story of the NFL can't be told without the Ravens.
In the playoffs, historic teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers have all fell in defeat to the Ravens.
Let's hope for more.
