Battle Red Blog agrees with Baltimore Beatdown; Ravens to take Joey Bosa in mock draft

Brett Kollmann posts full First Round mock draft; Ravens to take Defensive end

More and more mock drafts surfacing with the NFL Draft only a month away. This mock draft comes from SB Nation sister site Battle Red Blog, for the Houston Texans.

The Full article is here, and definitely worth a read.

But, as a Ravens site lets take a look at the important parts, which consists of the Browns selection, and the Ravens pick.

Cleveland in this mock draft is no longer in the hunt for a quarterback, and instead take the Ravens most coveted player possible.

2) Browns: Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State

Now that Robert Griffin III is a Brown, it seems like Hue Jackson is bringing him in as a high upside veteran that can get this franchise through a season or two while they restock with talent at other positions. Tashaun Gipson left in free agency, which means there is now a gaping hole at the free safety position - a hole I intend to fill with Jalen Ramsey. Quarterback is obviously still priority number one, but I think the signing of Griffin gives this organization a chance to look for a developmental signal caller on the second day of the draft. Paxton Lynch at pick 32, anyone?

This to me could be the biggest heart-breaking scenario. Baltimore should be head-over-heels for Ramsey, and watching an AFCNorth opponent take him away would hurt. If Cleveland starts a BPA strategy this will undoubtedly be the pick.

Baltimore takes a familiar name, and I personally hope this comes true.

6) Ravens: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State

The Ravens need to find an edge rusher for the future. Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil will not be on the team much longer, considering their age and/or health status, so getting a guy like Bosa to come in and energize this pass rush would be huge.

Once more, I absolutely agree. At this point in the draft, with Ramsey and Jack off the board I am more than happy to take the best edge player in the draft.
