Touchbacks to move forward

Touchbacks will now give teams automatic possession at the 25.

The extra points aren't the only thing that the NFL is going to change, they were only the first. The NFL has decided that kickoffs will result in a team taking over at the 25 instead of the 20.

John Harbaugh has responded to this new rule change by saying that the Ravens will experiment with new kickoffs to pin opponents in and that they won't surrender the extra yardage. With the Ravens having one of the best kickers in Justin Tucker and one of the best kick coverage units in the National Football League, the Ravens have their work cut out for them.

It's doubtful that the Ravens will be the only team in the NFL that aren't going to surrender those extra five yards, so it'll be interesting to see just how the new rule affects the NFL and the average starting position at the start of games and after scores. Coach Jerry Rosberg definitely has his work cut out for him over these next six months.
