Receiver Mike Wallace visiting Ravens on Monday

The Ravens are reportedly interested in the receiver if he's down for a cheaper deal.

Many fans have been calling for the Ravens to add another receiver to their repertoire, and it seems as if they're trying to do just that.

Free-agent receiver Mike Wallace is scheduled to visit the Ravens this Monday, whether the visit is successful or not depends on if Wallace is willing to accept a "low-budget" deal.

The Ravens are likely wanting to grab Wallace for the express purpose of getting a deep threat. The team's signature deep ball from the arm of Joe Flacco was practically absent last season, mostly due to the disappearance of Breshad Perriman and the fact that Steve Smith, Sr. was the team's most lethal deep threat.

Wallace would join the Ravens after posting a disappointing season for the Vikings in which he set or tied career lows in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns. It remains to be seen if the Ravens will be getting 'vintage Wallace', or the form he's reverted to since departing Pittsburgh.
