The NFL combine can be a grind for players. From waking up at five in the morning to the gauntlet of interviews with coaches poking and prodding at their brains, it is not uncommon to have a prospect significantly improve his performance at his pro day.
Thus was the case for Ohio State's Joey Bosa. According to Tony Pauline, who was present at the pro day, reports have been positive.
Joey Bosa is receiving very positive reviews for his workout today. He was faster (under 4.8 on most watches), stronger (28 on the bench) and significantly better in drills. Most on hand thought his position workout was outstanding
His workout is also available on youtube.
There is a good chance of Bosa being present at the sixth pick. His fall will remind some of Leonard Williams' in last years's draft, as it seems teams and especially fans are over thinking him. If Bosa turns out to be what Pernell Mcphee was at his peak for the Ravens from day 1 then he will be worth the sixth pick.
Bosa is good even if he might not be spectacular. Don't overthink it.
