Baltimore Ravens 2016 Opponents

Hopefully a better season...

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

With 2015 officially complete it's time for an optomist off-season perspective for the Baltimore Ravens.

A look into next season shows exactly who the Ravens face, and whether it be home or away:

Home games:

Away games:

The Ravens are facing the AFC North as always, mixed with the AFC & NFC East.

Last season, 4 of these teams were playoff squads (Bengals, Steelers, Redskins, Patriots).

The biggest hurdle next season is overcoming the Cincy demon, New England at home, and continuing the streak against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both New York teams look to be heading in the right direction, and Oakland last season also beat Baltimore.

No team will be easy, especially with Baltimore only winning 5 games last year. This team has some fixing to do in the off-season, but if we split the North 3-3, go NFC East 3-1 and the AFC East 2-2 and somehow go 2-0 against the Raiders and Jaguars we end up at 10-6. That's if we lose to Cincy, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland once. If we sweep the Browns and/or Steelers, and falter against the other squads, the result is still a 10-6 to 9-7 outing. It's a close one, but the Ravens have a shot.

The team also won't be taking trips the West nearly as much as last season. The farthest trip that will be taken is to Dallas. Another helpful starter, Ravens aren't starting at Mile High Stadium for the 3rd time in 4 years.

A slightly more comfortable feeling, especially after the season last year.
