Four Maryland Terps have been invited to the NFL combine

Glenn Andrews-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL has a released the list of players invited to the NFL combine. The combine is scheduled to start between February 23rd through February 29th at Lucas Oil Stadium the home of the Indianapolis Colts.

Locally, there are four players from the Maryland Terrapins roster who have been invited to the NFL combine and they are:

  • Cornerback Sean Davis
  • Defensive end Yannick Ngakoue
  • Defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson
  • Kicker Brad Craddock
Not bad for a Maryland team that only won one game in Big Ten conference play last season as they finished with a 3-9 overall record. And in terms of Davis, this take down at the Senior Bowl a couple of weeks ago probably got him an automatic invite.

Here are notable players who have been invited to the combine and may garner interest from the Ravens with their sixth overall pick:

  • Defensive lineman Joey Bosa (Ohio State Buckeyes)
  • Offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil (Ole Miss Rebels)
  • Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (Notre Dame Fighting Irish)
  • Defensive lineman DeForest Buckner (Oregon Ducks)
  • Linebacker Myles Jack (UCLA Bruins)
  • Cornerback Mackensie Alexander (Clemson Tigers)
  • Cornerback Jalen Ramsey (Florida State Seminoles)
  • Cornerback Vernon Hargreaves (Florida Gators)

You can find the whole list here.
