Which two Baltimore Ravens put together create the best player

If put together, which two players would form the best single grid-iron machine?

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The question is simple, if you could combine two players on the Baltimore Ravens roster into one talent, what would be best for the Ravens? I also feel that the answer is simple.

Courtney Upshaw and Elvis Dumervil as a single player would be the best outcome for the Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens don't need to add any more talent to Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley, Will Hill, or any particular receiver. No combination of runningbacks put as one could help to the extent that these two instead could create.

The run stuffing Courtney Upshaw and his 6 foot 2 inch, 271 pound frame has been a very important cog in the Ravens defense. Unfortunately the pass rush years later has not developed, and thus the Ravens use him in a rotational effort with Elvis Dumervil.

Elvis Dumervil has a fantastic pass-rush attack, and only a season ago the man took down quarterbacks 17 times. His run defense though isn't quite as stellar, and thus on big third downs they would rotate him in. If it was a short yardage situation, more often than not Courtney Upshaw was out there setting the edge on any run attempt.

Putting these two together would be amazing. Quite possibly two Terrell Suggs on the Ravens roster. Courtney Upshaw's size, strength, and big hit ability with talented run stopping, edge setting talent infused with the speed, precision, and pass rush skill of Elvis Dumervil is the right choice.
