Joe Flacco wins the FedEx Air Player of the Week.

The Ravens quarterback gets a cool reward for his performance.

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

Joe Flacco went out on to the field at M&T Bank Stadium last Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and proceeded to have the best game of an otherwise tough and uneven season for the Baltimore quarterback. Flacco tossed for 381 yards and 4 touchdowns with a completion percentage of 76.6% and a 119.2 passer rating. The offense was the best it has been all season and they did it against a Miami Dolphins team that had won six straight entering Sundays contest. Flacco and the Ravens ended that winning streak in dominate fashion.

With a performance like that, Flacco was going to be up for a few weekly NFL awards such as the AFC offensive player of the week and the FedEx Air Player of the Week. Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck took home the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for a 4 touchdown performance of his own on Monday Night Football against the New York Jets, but Flacco was voted the FedEx Air Player of the Week winner for Week 13 by fans who voted on NFL.com. The fans voted for Flacco over Luck and Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford for his performance against the New Orleans Saints.

This is the first time Flacco has won the award this season and the sixth time overall in his now 9-year career. Flacco previously had won it once in 2011, twice in 2012 and 2014, before winning it again this week.

The FEDEX Air and Ground Player of the Week awards are for a great cause as FEDEX makes a $2,000 donation to the USO in the names of every winner through FedEx cares.

Congratulations, Joe Flacco.
