The Baltimore Ravens have released its inactive’s list for today’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
INACTIVES:
— Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) December 25, 2016
Jimmy Smith
Javorius Allen
Brennen Beyer
Lamar Louis
Ryan Jensen
Alex Lewis
Crockett Gillmore
As noted on Friday, the Ravens will be without cornerback Jimmy Smith who is dealing with an ankle injury suffered against the New England Patriots two weeks ago. The Ravens ninth ranked pass defense will rely on cornerbacks Tavon Young and Shareece Wright against a Steelers passing offense ranking fifth in the NFL.
The Ravens defense has struggled in recent weeks on the road as the unit has allowed over 423 yards a game since week 6. In the secondary, the Ravens defense had success creating triple coverage against Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, forcing the other receivers to make plays for Pittsburgh. Expect a bit more of the same today.
The Ravens on offense will be without tight end Crockett Gillmore today as he has missed over a month due to a thigh injury. Ravens offensive lineman Alex Lewis will be inactive once again as well due to an ankle injury he suffered against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.
