Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith will miss Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith suffered an ankle injury against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football earlier this week and it will cause him to miss this Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The loss of Smith is a massive blow to the Ravens defense as the team has struggled over the last two seasons playing without him in coverage. The Ravens allowed over 400 yards passing against Patriots QB Tom Brady on Monday mainly due to Smith’s absence. Another issue in the Ravens secondary is cornerback Jerraud Powers who suffered a concussion against the Patriots and he is listed as questionable for Sunday vs. the Eagles.

On the positive side, Ravens tight end Crockett Gillmore who has missed the last six games due to a thigh injury was a full participant in practice today and is listed as questionable for Sunday vs. the Eagles.

Ravens offensive lineman Alex Lewis who has missed the last four games due to an ankle injury was a full participant in practice today and is listed as questionable for Sunday vs. the Eagles. Ravens LB/DB Anthony Levine is battling a toe injury and he is listed as questionable as well.
