Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

NFL: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Baltimore RavensJustin Tucker is without a doubt the best kicker in the NFL this season to say the least and he put his talents on display this past Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals when he became the first player in NFL history to make three 50 plus yard field goals in the first half.

Tucker was 4-4 in the field goal department on Sunday to extend his field goal streak to 34 straight scores dating back to last season. And as a result of Tucker’s flawless performance on Sunday, he won AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career.

Tucker on the season is the only kicker in the NFL to make all of his field goal attempts and extra points. Tucker is 27-27 in field goal tries and 15-15 in extra points. Where would the Ravens be without him? Not in first place in the AFC North that’s for sure.
