Baltimore Ravens Friday Injury Report

The Baltimore Ravens have released its final injury report this week as the team prepares for the Cincinnati Bengals and it looks like the Ravens will once again miss a very important player in the secondary.

Key Notes:

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith has been listed as doubtful for the second week in a row due to a back injury. It doesn’t look like Smith will play at this point but it is possible that the team won’t need his services this week. Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green is still healing from a hamstring injury he suffered against the Buffalo Bills last week and barring a miracle, Green won’t be out there against the Ravens on Sunday.

Ravens tight end Crockett Gillmore is also doubtful due to a thigh injury and will miss his fourth straight game. Gillmore hasn’t played since week 7 when the Ravens faced the New York Jets. If Gillmore’s thigh injury doesn’t get better soon, he may very well be a candidate to go on injured reserve for the second season in a row.

Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil is making progress as he is listed as questionable. Dumervil continues to work through a foot injury that caused him to miss eight out of the first 10 games of the season. Dumervil also had surgery on his foot during the offseason and it has been a work in progress ever since.

Other players listed as questionable for the Ravens are the following: Defensive lineman Timmy Jernigan (shoulder) nose tackle Brandon Williams (back/hand) and offensive lineman Marshal Yanda (shoulder).
