Ravens roster shuffles, Asa Jackson returns and Henry to IR

A few roster mix ups in the past 48 hours, as Baltimore cut a few and signed others. Namely, Asa Jackson, the former Baltimore Raven has not only re-signed with Baltimore, but joined the 53 man roster. This may be a move to provide depth as Shareece Wright, who fell off a cliff the past few games, is also out with injury. Hopefully it was the injury holding him back. We all were amazed week one when he lead the team in tackles and TFL. A machine on the field, but clearly he isn’t the same since. Asa Jackson is also a special teams player. Another possibility to return kicks with the not-so-sure-hands Devin Hester fielding kicks recently.

Other transactions for the Baltimore Ravens:

Ravens sigend guard Jarrod Pughsley and tight end Austin Traylor to the practice squad. They released quarterback David Fales. Baltimore also placed Willie Henry on injured reserve. Willie Henry was drafted in the fourth round. Henry practiced great during camp, but Michael Pierce stole the spot with his brilliant play.
