The Ravens will be without an integral piece Thursday night against the Browns, just after seemingly returning to full health.
The Ravens announced just before kickoff that superstar right guard Marshal Yanda will miss the prime time game against Cleveland.
Yanda had just returned to action in Week 9 against the Steelers following missing extended time with a shoulder injury. In addition to the return of Yanda against Pittsburgh, the Ravens got left tackle Ronnie Stanley back. Fortunately, the Ravens will not be without their prized rookie in Week 10.
Despite the seemingly cushy matchup, not having a player of Yanda’s caliber is a major detriment to the Ravens already struggling offense. The Ravens need to run the ball more, and Yanda is always one of the best run blockers not just on the team, but in the NFL. The first place Ravens should hopefully get by without Yanda tonight, but this clearly is not good in a very important AFC North matchup.
