Today’s inactive’s list contains many rookies, including bot Matt Judon and Kamelei Correa. These names may come as a surprise and is guaranteed to upset a few fans given the lack of success of the 2013 class. It is important to keep perspective. They are rookies after all and after the special teams debacle of last week, the focus was always going to be on getting them fixed.
On the offensive side, Ronnie Stanley misses his second straight game with a foot injury. He will return, likely next week and be good when he does. No worries. Fellow rookie Alex Lewis comes under the microscope as he will replace his counterpart at left tackle. Chris Moore ran into a rough patch last week and like the two defensive rookies, likely finds himself caught in the special teams re-shuffle. It is not yet time to panic.
It is no doubt frustrating to see these young players not on the roster, but it is good to know the Ravens staff is shuffling players around in attempts of solving their problems regarding special teams.
