Baltimore Ravens right guard Marshal Yanda has been nursing a shoulder injury that caused him to miss the last two games against the New York Giants and the New York Jets. In preparation for the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 9, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh says that he expects Yanda to be a full participant in practice next week.
Coach Harbaugh expects Yanda to practice fully next week.

Even though that might be the case, it isn’t for certain that Yanda plays against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley for example has hinted in the last couple of weeks to the media that he could play but Harbaugh decided to rest him for precaution.
With the Ravens standing at 3-4 on the season, precaution is going to have be thrown out the window at this point. With the Steelers coming to town in week 9 for a battle of first place in the AFC North on the line, the Ravens need all hands on deck.
The Ravens offensive line has been in complete shambles during this four game losing streak which has pretty much been a direct cause for Joe Flacco’s struggles in the passing game. Yanda returning to the field as he is regarded as the best right guard in the entire NFL, is just what the Ravens need and not a moment later.
