Baltimore Ravens inactive’s vs. New York Giants

NFL: Washington Redskins at Baltimore Ravens Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Baltimore Ravens have released its inactive’s list and there are quite a few big names who will miss a critical game today against the New York Giants.

Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley will miss his third straight game due to a foot injury and it isn’t a coincidence that the Ravens lost its last two games in his absence. In addition, right guard Marshal Yanda, who many regard as the best right guard in the NFL, will not play as he is currently dealing with a shoulder injury.

The Ravens offensive line has struggled protecting quarterback Joe Flacco in pass protection and those issues may very well continue today despite the fact that the Giants only have four sacks on defense so far this season. Hopefully new Ravens offensive coordinator Marty Morhinweg has created a gameplan to offset these injuries.

Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. will be inactive for the first time this season as he is dealing with an ankle injury that he suffered in week 5 against the Redskins. Expect Ravens wide receivers in Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken to be very active today.

Ravens inside linebacker C.J. Mosley will miss an NFL regular season game for the first time in his three-year career. Ravens inside linebackers in Kamalei Correa and Zachary Orr have big shoes to fill in the middle of the field especially in coverage as Mosley leads the team with three interceptions.

Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil was already ruled out for this week on Friday as he is trying to heal from a foot injury.
