It was two years ago today the Baltimore Ravens realized their offensive capabilities. In the span of 16 minutes quarterback Joe Flacco threw five touchdowns. The fastest five touchdowns thrown from the start of game since the NFL-AFL merger.

Feels just a tad bit better when realizing he beat Ben Roethlisberger’s number. Even more impressive, he shattered the previous high by over 12(!) minutes.
The Ravens absolutely have better weapons now than the 2014 season. They added Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman at the loss of Torrey Smith. There is no doubt this Ravens offense can put these digits up. Obviously not in this spectacular fashion, but to think this team can only win games by one score is silly. This offense should be hanging 30-40 on some squads, rather than fighting for 10 points at home against the Redskins.
Hopefully the shift to Marty Mornhinweg brings this offense back to the comfort of 2-3 score leads, rather than desperation Flacco 2 minute drills.
