It's an AFC North game alright. It's getting chippy and there are tons of great football hits going on. Sadly for both teams, it has resulted in players having to head to the locker room.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger took a massive hit by Vontaze Burfict that made him fumble the football and put him into the turf on his shoulder. He stayed down on the field for a few seconds before walking over to the sidelines clearly holding his arm close to his body.

As the Bengals offense took the field, Roethlisberger was carted off into the locker room. Apparently as the tweet shows, debris was falling from the stands towards the Steelers quarterback as the cart went into the tunnel.

Shortly before this hit, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier would nail Bengals running back Giovanni Bernard after he caught a pass, going helmet to helmet and knocking him out cold. The two teams had to be separated afterwards as the Bengals players were ready to start a fight over the play, helping to set up an even more hostile crowd.

The stadium had to announce between possessions to stop throwing things onto the field, something no adults should have to tell other adults to do. I think regardless of your dislike of a team, throwing things at an injured player is a classless move that should see those particular individuals faced with a severe punishment.
