NFL Playoffs: Steelers coach Mike Munchak penalized for grabbing Bengals player's hair

Everyone expected the playoff matchup between AFC North rivals The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals to be chippy. With a pre-game fight the last time these teams met, the officials created a line at midfield before this one started in order to keep things under control.

Everyone expected the playoff matchup between AFC North rivals The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals to be chippy. With a pre-game fight the last time these teams met, the officials created a line at midfield before this one started in order to keep things under control.

Sadly for everyone involved, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak had thoughts of his own. Munchak was caught pushing Bengals safety Reggie Nelson and what looks like grabbing his hair on the sidelines. Below is a video of the grab and shove from Munchak.

Another angle of the altercation shows a much clearer picture of Munchak grabbing the hair.

The argument could be made that his hand simply got caught in Nelson's hair and it wasn't a purposeful yank. Regardless, Reggie Nelson took obvious offense to the coach grabbing any part of him and gave a shove back. The officials agreed as they tagged a 15-yard penalty onto the Pittsburgh Steelers.

You can be sure the league is currently reviewing the film themselves and creating a punishment for Munchak right now. They won't allow that type of stuff from it's players, then the coaches have to be held to at least the same standards, if not higher.

Since it was on the sidelines, Munchak could see a suspension of some sort. If the Pittsburgh Steelers were to win their Wild Card round game, a suspension could see their offensive line coach miss out on some of the postseason.

So do you think it was a harmless accident, or was it on purpose? And what type of punishment should the coach get, if any?
