The Associated Press All-Pro team is one of the biggest honors a football player can achieve. More meaningful than a Pro Bowl nod mainly because this isn't fan voted, but comes from the Associated Press writers themselves and judging who is without a doubt the better player.
The only player to get voted in was right guard Marshal Yanda. Easily one of the top offensive guards in football throughout his career, he has been one of the players Baltimore has built the team around. A quiet man off the field, Yanda has earned a reputation as one of the toughest players with one of the biggest mean streaks you'll find in football.
Originally drafted out of Iowa in the third round of the 2007, Yanda has seen five Pro Bowls, two first-team All-Pro awards as well as two second-team All-Pro awards. Yanda was even ranked as the top guard by Pro Football Focus this season. The Ravens were both smart and lucky to wrap him up to a four-year extension this season back in October worth $32 million.
Below is the full first-team list:
Much like the Pro Bowl, the Ravens won't be seeing too many accolades come their way after the regular season. It makes sense after going 5-11 and with so many injuries to so many players, but it is still disappointing to go down a list and miss so many of the Ravens that we've come to know and love as dominant players.
Even the second-team list wasn't filled with the few Ravens players that you would have expected to see be at worst runners up. Punter Sam Koch on his first Pro Bowl season was the only Baltimore Raven to see the second-team, missing such gems as Brandon Williams, Justin Tucker, Kyle Jusczcyk, Will Hill III, and Kelechi Osemele.

However, with Marshal Yanda on the team, we know there will always be at least a single Ravens player getting his dues after the season.
