2016 NFC Championship: Panthers vs. Cardinals Game Thread

This is the match-up of the night. Follow it all here.

#2 Arizona Cardinals @ #1 Carolina Panthers

Where to Watch: 6:40 on FOX

Spread: Panthers by 3

Over/Under: 47

Background:

The Arizona Cardinals have advanced to their first NFC Championship since 2008 after a game against the Green Bay Packers that while it was memorable, it was closer and longer than it needed to be.

The Carolina Panthers have advanced to their first NFC Championship since 2005 after holding off a Seattle comeback.

This is the first conference championship for both starting quarterbacks and both coaches. Both of these franchises are fighting over the right to make their second ever Super Bowl appearance, which is still less bland and repetitive than the Tom Brady (trying to make appearance #7) / Peyton Manning-led team (trying to make appearance #4)  matchup that the AFC has trotted out for the better part of the decade. I might favoring the NFC just a little bit.
