2016 NFL Playoffs - Cardinals vs Panthers: Panthers open as early favorites

For the NFC, it is all coming down to the Carolina Panthers and the Arizona Cardinals. Two of the best teams throughout the season for that conference are finally meeting this season for a chance to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

For the Panthers, it was a blowout until they took their foot off the gas pedal in the second half and allowed the Seattle Seahawks to come back and make it a game. The Cardinals had a little harder of a time with the Green Bay Packers however, having the game go into overtime due to a crazy hail mary from Aaron Rodgers.

Our friends over at BookMaker have hooked us up with the early odds that see Carolina open as the favorites immediately after the NFC title game opponent was announced by three points. With the two offense able to churn up yardage and put points on the board, the over/under is pretty high, set at 47 points.

The "public" teams are out of the playoffs so it will be interesting where the bettors take this line. We’ve had sharp clients on Arizona many times this season, and we suspect the early action to come on the underdog side. We may not get as big of a handle as we hoped for considering the team markets, but this should be a fantastic game.
