RoosterTeeth, an entertainment company popular for their videos on YouTube, more specifically RedvsBlue a comedy series based on the XBox video game Halo. RoosterTeeth has a new show called Sports Ball, a panel discussion show talking about the week's sporting events. With the playoffs in full swing, Sports Ball decided to get creative in picking the winners and losers in the divisional round of the playoffs.
With images of the most popular member of the two teams facing off against one another, they track where their "psychic chicken" named Barbara, um... defecates, in order to determine the loser.
With the first set of games already down between the Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots, the chicken correctly predicted that the Chiefs would be the losing team. The second game on Saturday was between the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals. Once again, Barbara the psychic chicken called it correctly, pooping on Aaron Rodgers to declare the Packers the losers.
With a 2-0 record so far, it might seem like a joke but the damn chicken is doing pretty well so far. While I'm currently undefeated in the Baltimore Beatdown staff pick 'ems for the playoffs at 6-0, Barbara is getting too close for comfort for me.
