Its Sunday's first game in the divisional bracket for the NFC. The Seattle Seahawks are looking to get back to the Super Bowl once again, but the powerful Carolina Panthers are sitting in their way. With Cam Newton facing off against Russell Wilson, it'll be one of the more interesting games this weekend.

With our friends over at BookMaker, we have the odds, betting lines and over/under for the game itself. They've also been great enough to provide their analysis of what has been going on to get them to the numbers they have.

Seahawks at Panthers (-1.5, 44)

It’s a bit surprising to see the Panthers drop to such short favorites. But the betting community has spoken so we’ve adjusted from an opener of Carolina -2.5 to as low as -1. Most were surprised by the small line considering the sensational season the Panthers had, but that just shows the pedigree Seattle has carries weight. In my opinion, Cam Newton has matured enough to get this win and the playoff monkey off his back. As far as the total, it’s moved up a half point since the open and this could turn into a high-scoring contest.

As they mentioned, the Panthers should be heavy favorites, but the Seattle Seahawks have been here before and know how to pull it out in the playoffs. It'll be an uphill battle for Panthers quarterback Cam Newton and one that will show an immense amount of maturity if he can get the team to the Conference Title Game.
