The Divisional Round is coming to a close, but you still have a choice on which teams you should root for this Sunday. There's still the Seahawks, Panthers, Steelers, and Broncos and plenty of reasons to root for or against either team.
Seattle Seahawks
Reasons to root for:
They have one of the best defenses in the NFL, so if you're a fan of defense, this is one of the teams your rooting for. Russell Wilson isn't too bad of a guy either.
Reasons to root against:
You don't like the loudmouthed Legion of Boom. Especially Richard Sherman. Or the 12th Man. And Russell Wilson is sort of weird.
Carolina Panthers
Reasons to root for:
The Panthers have an elite defense as well. They also have one of the most dynamic players in Cam Newton. Also the Panthers are one of the NFL's ringless franchises.
Reasons to root against:
You're an old-fashioned person who doesn't like Cam's celebrations.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Why you should root for them:
Respect for our rivals. Plus the Steelers and Ravens have such a similar mentality, it'd be like rooting for the Ravens at this point.
Why you shouldn't:
Because they really don't need to get any closer to winning that seventh ring. A first-round defeat would take some air out of their sails and make the postseason a little sweeter.
Denver Broncos
Why you should root for them:
You're a Peyton Manning fan and you want him to go out with a ring.
Why you shouldn't:
Peyton Manning has enough hype. God forbid that he gets the storybook ending. And they stole Gary Kubiak.
