There's four less teams in the playoffs and you may or may not have been rooting for one of those fallen teams. Fear not, there's four more teams for you to root for this weekend. Here's your rooting guide for tonight.
Green Bay Packers
Reasons to root for:
Aaron Rodgers and a rematch of Super Bowl I
Reasons to root against:
They already have plenty of trophies and Aaron Rodgers has enough hype surrounding him.
Arizona Cardinals
Reasons to root for:
They're one of the NFL's ringless franchises and one of the longest suffering franchises in the league. Also Larry Fitzgerald deserves to be a champion.
Reasons to root against:
They have Carson Palmer and Bruce Arians, two guys who spent the better part of the 2000s on the Ravens rivals.
Kansas City Chiefs
Why you should root for them:
They're not the Patriots, Steelers, or a Peyton Manning led team. Perhaps you want a Super Bowl I rematch. Also it would be fairly amusing to watch Andy Reid and Alex Smith win it all while the Eagles and 49ers are starting over.
Why you shouldn't
Sorry Alex, but you're one of the most boring quarterbacks in the playoffs. Nothing personal.
New England Patriots
Why you should root for them:
You find the Gronk to be the most tolerable Patriot on the team
Why you shouldn't:
You don't need me to list all of the reasons why you shouldn't
There's only a little bit of football left and one of these teams is going to win it all, so you might as well get behind one of them.
