The Wild Card round has come and gone. With some upsets and definitely an interesting weekend for football fans, we slide right into the divisional round that get into the big boys of both the AFC and NFC. With our friends over at BookMaker, we have all the important odds for Super Bowl 50, including the exact matchup, the winner of it all, and even the favorites to win the divisions.
The big one is who is the favorites to win the trophy, the rings, and have a parade in their home towns. As of right now, that would be the New England Patriots as the far and away best bet. It makes sense since they have the winningest coach, one of the best quarterbacks of all time, and have been in this spot a few times before.
Next up are the odds to win the AFC and NFC conferences. With the odds as you've seen them for the Super Bowl winners, you'd have to expect that oddsmakers have chosen the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals as the favorites for their conferences, with everyone else playing second fiddle.
ODDS TO WIN NFC CONFERENCE
Finally, it's the exact matchup of the Super Bowl that might draw the most interest. Much like the last two sets of odds, it's the Arizona Cardinals facing off against the New England Patriots if you can take the oddsmakers word for it. But it is interesting to think about some of the lesser chosen options like the Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks, a rematch of Super Bowl 40, exactly 10 years ago.
SUPER BOWL 50 EXACT MATCHUP
As always, these odds will change a bit before gametime I'm sure and then most certainly after this weekend as more teams are eliminated. What will happen if the Cardinals and Patriots are wiped from the playoffs this weekend? That would make a nice little twist for sure.
