The Bengals vs Steelers final score is perfect for the Baltimore Ravens

The AFC North's two best teams were on display in the opening round of the playoffs, and the end result couldn't have been any better for couch-bound Raven fans.

With the AFC North sending two teams to the playoffs this year, fans of the Browns and Ravens were forced to sit at home and watch their rivals battle it out. With the Bengals and Steelers squaring off, it could not have been any harder to pick a side to root for. The best positive result would've probably been some sort of natural disaster at Paul Brown Stadium.

But what actually went down was almost just as good.

The Bengals, so close to winning their first playoff game in 26 years, absolutely embarrassed themselves on national television. The cockiness and pure arrogance of Vontaze Burfict, who the Ravens and their fans have come to know as one of league's dirtiest players, was absolutely golden. On the other hand, the Steelers trounced the Bengals in the closing minutes, and ultimately got the last laugh over Cincinnati's unruly fans. It's a loss for the Bengals that has many of their fans calling for head coach Marvin Lewis' head after his 0-7 record in the postseason became too much to bare.

The Steelers also didn't escape unscathed either. With Ben Roethlisberger's status in serious doubt for a battle against the Broncos, and the team's explosive offense looking awfully stagnant at the moment, the Ravens' archrival might not be going very far in the playoffs.

In other words, it's a great time to be a Ravens fan.
