NFL cuts: Ravens CB Asa Jackson to be released, per Wilson

The team is parting ways with the liablity in the secondary.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've yet to find another source to confirm this. At this time, I'm taking Wilson's word for it.

The Ravens are letting Asa Jackson go, it appears. Jackson, a fifth-round selection for the Ravens in 2012, never really caught on with the team. He was a liability in the secondary, and despite showing promise at the kick returner position this offseason, made too many mistakes for the team to keep him. It now looks like receiver Michael Campanaro is taking the reigns of the returner position.
