2015 NFL Roster Cuts: More Ravens get the axe

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Roster cuts are continuing to happen at 1 Winning Drive in Owings Mills Maryland as the Ravens are looking to get down to the 53-man roster limit by Saturday.

We've covered Daniel Brown and Blaine Clausell being waived so far, but the Ravens have released the followng other players today as well.

Andrew Bose - ILB - Rookie - Rhode Island

Andrew was a long shot to make the final roster as the Ravens have more than enough depth at the inside linebacker position. Bose was a quick player that looked to be a coverage linebacker for the Ravens.

Tom Nelson - WR - 3 years - Illinois State

Tom Nelson was brought onto the Ravens squad to fight for a return job. After last night's preseason game where he didn't have any unique plays as a returner, he was on the outside looking in as the Ravens have more than enough wide receivers on the roster.

Quinton Pointer - CB - 3 years - UNLV

Pointer was a corner that was in the running for one of the backup spots. A guy who played well both in training camp and during preseason, many expected Pointer to make the final roster instead of Asa Jackson.

There are not the last of the cuts we will likely see today as the Ravens still need to waive another 17 players to get down to the final roster limit.
