What do Aaron Rodgers, J.J. Watt, and Marshal Yanda all have in common?

One of these names doesn't belong...

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

While you might see the likes of Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Watt on the backs of jerseys everywhere, you rarely hear the name Marshal Yanda. While Yanda plays the unglamorous position of offensive guard, he's without a doubt the best in the game at it, and perhaps one of the best in recent NFL history.

Although many don't give Yanda enough credit for being one of the best in the league, the makers of Madden have recognized him with a honor that puts him in elite company.

It's about time. Ravens fans know that Yanda practically never lets his man get to the quarterback. While the rest of the offensive line might be in turmoil (like in Week 1), you can count on Yanda to be a constant playmaker. Without Marshal Yanda, I think this Ravens offense wouldn't be the same. He's just that good.

So with the new rankings out, your Madden just got a little better. For Yanda, a 99 overall rating in football's hallmark video game might just be the most recent accolade in a long line of future achievements. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Canton pretty soon.
