Steve Smith Sr. challenging Suggs as team comedian?

First we have former wide receiver Torrey Smith making poop jokes, now this?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

As one of the top receivers in the league for over a decade, Steve Smith has accumulated over 13,000 yards and 73 touchdowns. Last season, his first with the Ravens (or any other team not in Carolina for that matter), he became one of only 3 players to break 1000 yards for the Ravens since 2000, joining Derrick Mason and Torrey Smith. Mason did it 4 times and Torrey once, so Steve Smith doing it in his first season definitely is impressive. He finished with 1065 yards and 6 touchdowns, although most of it was accumulated in the first six games of the season.

Steve Smith is a family man, a leader, a competitor, and a very good player. He is a player that everyone wants to go to battle with, never backs down, and has his teammates' backs. While these things show in his play and stand out on the field each and every day, apparently there is another side to him which we have not seen yet.

Steve Smith Senior is apparently also a jokester (h/t BR.com):

While this is a role OLB Terrell Suggs has gladly held for years, apparently he now has some competition for the job. We all know that Smith is an intense competitor, so if he is making a run at Suggs job, then the veteran linebacker better watch his back.
