Former Ravens DE Arthur Jones sidelined

Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

As a former Raven, many fans of the Ravens follow the career of former Ravens defensive end Arthur Jones, despite the fact that he plays for the rival Indianapolis Colts. Jones left following the 2013 season, signing a big deal to help bolster the Colts line. He has played well when he has been healthy, which unfortunately for the Colts has been less than they had hoped for.

The latest injury to befall Jones is an ankle injury suffered early in the third preseason game:

This does not look promising for the Colts:

If Jones is out an extended period of time, it is a blow to an already weak Colts defensive line which has minimal depth behind the starters. Let's hope Jones is okay and has a speedy recovery.
