Terrell Suggs calls out Ravens' backup quarterback Matt Schaub

Some things never change, like Terrell Suggs calling out QBs.

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

Terrell Suggs is no stranger to calling out quarterbacks, even his own.

You can't forget when he called out Tom Brady, saying "I don’t like him, he don’t like me. I don’t like his hair." "Everyone just seems to worship the guy so much. Not me, though." He's also called out his own before, previously saying that Troy Smith should be the starter instead of Joe Flacco, and has also criticized Flacco's leadership style.

Well, he's done it again. This time with backup QB Matt Schaub. Per ESPN's Jamison Hensley, after Schaub "wildly overthrew his receivers on consecutive throws", Suggs shouted from the sidelines "Hey Matt, your guys are the guys in purple."

Oh damn. Got 'em.

Hopefully this serves as some sort of motivation for Schaub, as he's been pretty dismal throughout camp. While Coach Harbaugh has been supportive of him, Schaub is losing supporters fast.

"I feel great about Matt Schaub as a backup quarterback," Harbaugh said. "Matt is a heck of a backup quarterback, because he’s a good player, and we feel comfortable that Matt can win for us."

If it means anything, the aforementioned quarterbacks that Suggs dissed went on to do great things after his remarks were spoken. Hopefully the same can be said for Schaub.
