While training camp hasn't fully started yet, the Ravens' rookies are permitted to show up to the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Maryland. Getting their physicals, doing conditioning tests and getting more time with the coaches to learn the playbook is primarily what the rookies will be doing for the time being.
On Friday, July 24th, the injured veterans are able to show up. Guys like tight end Dennis Pitta, and cornerback Jimmy Smith should be in attendance where they will undergo the same treatment the rookies got. They'll go under the microscope of team physicians in order to gauge their rehabilitation progress. Quarterbacks get to show up on the 26th of July to do their parts and begin getting to really know their young players.
The rest of the team is allowed to check in on July 29th, which will also be the first day of media access, so we will be there sending back all of the inside information and interviews.
The Ravens will host their annual free stadium practice for fans to attend on Monday August 3 at M&T Bank Stadium beginning at 7 pm. Training camp will break off for a few days starting on August 18th when the Ravens travel to Philadelphia for the three days of practice before their nationally televised preseason game on August 22.
Training camp officially ends with the roster cut down to 53 players on September 5th.
