2015 Ravens Depth Chart: Linebacker

New, comments

Our roster preview continues with a look at the Ravens linebackers

Brad Barr-USA TODAY Sports

The Players: Terrell Suggs, Elvis Dumervil, Courtney Upshaw, Elvis Dumervil, Za'Darius Smith, C.J. Mosley, Daryl Smith, Arthur Brown, Albert McClellan, Zach Orr, Brennen Beyer, Andrew Bose, Steven Means, Zachary Thompson.

Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil

This duo combined for almost 30 sacks last year, and they aren't too expensive. They're on the roster.

Courtney Upshaw

Even if Upshaw doesn't become the pass rushing force McPhee was, he's still a quality edge rusher.

C.J. Mosley and Daryl Smith

This is the best inside linebacker duo in the NFL and they're coming at an extremely low price. They're staying.

Za'Darius Smith

Smith will be groomed to replace Pernell McPhee.

Arthur Brown

Barring an unexpected retirement or run-in with the law, Brown is on the roster

Albert McClellan and Zach Orr

These two are good special teamers, but can be replaced if one of the younger linebackers shines in camp.

Practice Squad: Steven Means, Zachary Thompson, Brennen Beyer, Andrew Bose, Steven Means

If these guys can't pry a spot from McClellan or Orr, their best bet is the practice squad. Linebacker is one of the Ravens strongest spots, and there just isn't any opportunity for an undrafted rookie to come in and win a job.
