The Baltimore Ravens once again step up with an awesome opportunity for local groups to get recognized for their hard work and time spent in the community. The Ravens have announced their 16th annual Honor Rows Program.
The Honor Rows Program is presented by M&T Bank, the Baltimore Ravens and the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism. During each Ravens home game of the 2015 NFL regular season, the program will honor youth groups and organizations that provide outstanding volunteer service to communities.
Each winning group will receive up to 100 tickets to a game, Honor Rows t-shirts for all participants, a pre-game visit to the field and an official in-game recognition on the JumboTron. The groups will be selected by a panel of youth service leaders with the assistance of M&T Bank, the Baltimore Ravens and the Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism.
Augie Chiasera, the President of M&T Bank's Greater Baltimore and Chesapeake regions had this to say about the program:
We understand that it’s important to recognize young people who make a positive difference in the community through their hard work and commitment. In the past 11 years, nearly 9,000 people have been recognized by the Honor Rows Program for their outstanding community service.
If you feel that your organization is worthy of this honor, head on over to http://www.baltimoreravens.com/HonorRows to fill out your application, including a 100-word essay describing why the group should be honored. The deadline to submit an application is August 14, 2015.
