The Baltimore Ravens and Under Armour's WIN program will provide grants for new football equipment and apparel to 25 teams that represent outstanding programs. These programs also are known to have positive impact on their respective communities. The awards, provided by The Ravens Foundation, Inc., is to show their commitment to improve the quality of area youth football.
The grants, in its fifth year, will go towards the recipients' purchase of Under Armour packages that may include jerseys, cleats, socks, footballs, gloves and mouth guards.
Through the Ravens outreach program, Ravens RISE, the team serves both youth and high school football by contributing more than 800 cleats to area football programs, donating weight-training equipment, hosting clinics for youth football coaches, honoring area high school coaches through the Ravens Coach of the Week program and recognizing outstanding high school football matchups through the Ravens High School Game of the Week.
The Ravens invite area football teams to training camp and home games throughout the season. Baltimore also plays host to various tournaments and clinics presented by Under Armour. The most recent clinic included the Ravens 7-on-7 High School Football Tournament and the Play Like A Raven Football Clinics for youth.
