The first injury of the season has hit the NFL. Sadly for the Jaguars, their fans and the player specifically, that player was first round draft pick Dante Fowler.
Fowler went down after coming off the line and being completely untouched. Trainers came out and apparently had him carted off the field. After some time with doctors, it was determined that he tore his ACL and is out for the entire 2015 NFL season

The worst part for all involved was that Fowler hast even signed his contract yet. However, the Jaguars had signed an injury agreement with Fowler beforehand that they would negotiate in good faith despite injury.
He will be missing the entire 2015 NFL season for the Jaguars. That means that he won't be available when the Baltimore Ravens face off against the Jaguars in week 10. The game against the Jaguars happens after the Ravens' bye week and is also a home game for Baltimore. Making a relative easy game even easier certainly isn't what Jacksonville wanted to have happen this year.
