The NFL Network has begun their countdown of Top 100 players of 2015. Near Rookie of the Year C.J. Mosley was voted into the top 100 after just one NFL season, slotting in at #94. He is the second Raven, following Star Quarterback Joe Flacco at #97.
C.J. was a top ILB in 2015 following being drafted 17th in the 1st round. C.J. was a key cog on a very good Ravens defense, leading the team to the playoffs, a win over rival Pittsburgh in the Wild Card round and a near victory over New England in the divisional round.
Mosley is a well rounded player. If I had to name one weakness, it would be his pass defense. He is not below average, but he was victimized in this area at times by some of the better running backs in the league, like Steelers Pro Bowler Le'Veon Bell.
The players around Mosley were: #93 TE Jason Witten, #92 fellow rookie DL Aaron Donald, #91 WR Julian Edelman. This might be a little lower than we would rank him, but he is a rookie so it is understandable.
This is the first of many for our new Star ILB!
