Maxx Williams was the Ravens' second round pick. The tight end from Minnesota has drawn comparisons to Jeremy Shockey and to Jason Witten. Both great tight ends in their own rights, Williams clearly has a lot of hype to live up to from Ravens fans.
Let's check out some of his highlights to see what type of player that the Ravens got in the second round...
Thanks to gophersports.com for the video on Youtube and of course to Maxx Williams for the highlights here.
Ummmm, holy crap! Williams is an absolute beast in the passing game. We see him make plays over linebackers, safeties and even some corners that defenses have tried to match up against him. He's simply too fast and too big for anyone in the collegiate level to cover him. With quarterback Joe Flacco throwing up the ball, and the Ravens' history of using this type of player, we should expect Williams to keep the highlight reel going in Raven purple.
